SHOE BRUSH
Perfect for the job

A shoe brush is an essential tool for every type of shoe care. It is important to use the correct shoe brush for the respective outer material of the shoe and to preserve the leather rather than unintentionally cause additional wear. Thoroughly caring for your shoes always starts with brushing the shoes and ends with the final polishing.
There is a difference between stiff brushes, application brushes, polishing brushes and suede cleaning brushes.
Coarse dirt on leather or shoe soles can be removed with a stiff brush. It is essential to choose the right brush based on the sensitivity of the leather. Make sure to shake out any dirt that has become ingrained in the brush after each use in order to avoid any small stones or dirt particles scratching the leather next time you wear the shoes.
The application brush resembles a brush that can be used to apply polish to the upper leather. It can be used in addition to a cotton cleaning cloth and is suited to caring for heavily textured leather, in areas which would be hard to reach with the cloth.
The polishing brush, which is the brush used for the final fine polishing of high-quality shoes, is a silky and soft brush. The bristles are hard enough to pick up excess product, but also soft enough to leave some wax behind, thus adding shine to the leather.
Suede is particularly suited to being cared for using a rough-leather brush and can be brushed out excellently without damaging the underlying leather structure. By using diagonal movements to brush the leather surface, you can reduce the risk of damaging the suede. The suede brush is able to remove dirt from the suede quickly, therefore avoiding damage caused to the leather by over-stressing the material.
The shoe cloth is suitable for using after the shoe polish has been applied and set. Rubbing the shoe makes the surface of the leather shine, giving the shoe a particularly glossy finish.

Taking your shoes on and off properly

Cleaning your shoes correctly
Shoe cleaning is an art in itself and a task that fewer and fewer people are unfortunately taking the time to do. This is a shame because shoes are at their best when they are cleaned and maintained well. Not only this, but we also believe that it puts people in good stead and gives off a neat and orderly overall impression to not only take pride in their outer clothing, but also keep their footwear well-maintained. “Smart up top, casual on the bottom” is not a motto that we recommend following for your style inspiration, even with laid-back fashion trends that are popular nowadays.
Shoe care products
The impeccable condition that your shoes arrive in will show signs of wear and tear over time. It is worthwhile using the correct care product for your shoes in order to counteract this.
Shoe polish
Just like our skin, leather also needs regular care in order to stay soft, durable and crease-free. The same goes for our shoes. Those who regularly take the time to polish their shoes provide them with suppleness and elasticity whilst protecting them from moisture.
Suede Care
Our suede leather is our most fashionable and luxurious leather. Impregnation spray is often the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to the topic of shoe care, and rightly so, however impregnation is only half of the story. Find out the reasons why here.
